Hi all we had a major Network issue on the afternoon - evening and night 
this resulted in total loss of service - it was not only GD who were effected by this.

They managed to get Network resolved late evening but as we had lost our 1gb link we had to reboot the dedi - along with this were a load of pending Operating system updates. The server never came back up after this which was a result of some corrupt update on Windows.
Despite trying we were not able to recover it so at midnight last night I asked GD to format our server and reinstall the OS.
From late last night till late this morning I have been updating the Server - the actual recovery of the servers only took me an hour and half the bulk of the delay was getting the os upto date and setting up all the firewall and so on.....................

I am sorry this took so long but on top of the network issue we were very unlucky for the OS to screw up
I will be looking at backing up the WHOLE OS as this would have saved me 5 hours on a rebuild ...............
