How to fix UAC3 due to virus alert

Hi all due to the amount of updates UAC3 do - you will often get problems with Antivirus alerts........

Is it safe yes - The instructions below allow restricted access to stop these issues.

Why well after UAC3 makes an update to their program they have to get AVG to evaluate it and then except it - this can take time so this is where problems occur where virus scanners block it........

How to except it and prevent problems -:

Open AVG -:

Select tools and advance settings -:
avg1_7.jpg

Now select Resident Shield and Excluded items and click on file path

avg2_4.jpg

Now Select the file path where UAC3 is installed -: C:\Program Files\DExUS\UAC3

avg4_1.jpg
Click on OK and this will excempt Antivirus from blocking and will prevent issues on further updates............

This Exanple has been for AVG on Windows XP but will be very similar across platforms and different Anti virus programs - if those on different could also post their help where a different procedure is required.

Re: How to fix UAC3 due to virus alert

After having a near mental breakdown, causing me to kick Hell out of the dog. All due to the UAC3 conflicts weather using XP or Win7, I decided to give it one last go. I decided to uninstall AVG. I acceted the download then after the run, it gave me an error. "Code 740" I thought SHIT!!!!. The UAC shortcut opened ok to my supprise. I said sorry to the Dog. now all is well.. I do believe byepassing the AVG gave the finished result.
