Hello soldiers!

Finally i manage to put all things together and just released the first version of my new mod " -=[Escort-The-Tank]=- ".

A new mod for MOHAA has born!

Gametype Objective:.

. A team must escort the tank to it's destination point and protect/repair it from being destroyed by opposite team rockets.

. Opposite team must find rockets and destroy the tank or kill the players escorting it, preventing in this way, the players repair the tank or escorting it further.

Server is online and available to everyone!! ... Thanks alot to AAAA for Sponsoring the server

EDITED (26-09-2014) : 1 more map added "Remagen" .

EDITED (05-10-2014) : 1 more map added "Sniper's Last Stand - City Hall" (m5l1b) .

EDITED (31-10-2014) : A NEW map has been added : "The Nebelwerfer Hunt" (m3l3).

EDITED (18-11-2014): NEW map has been added: "The Communications Blackout" (m6l2a). Chistmas is coming, so here goes a winter map to play

EDITED (28-12-2014): NEW map has been added: " Sabotage the Motorpool" (m1l2b).

EDITED (09-03-2015): NEW map has been added: "Algiers"

At this moment there are 8 maps available on the mod : "Destroyed Village" , "Crossroads" , "Remagen" , "Algiers" , "Sniper's Last Stand - City Hall" (m5l1b), "The Nebelwerfer Hunt " (m3l3) , "The Communications Blackout (m6l2a) and " Sabotage the Motorpool" (m1l2b).

All Serverside Mod.

I will keep developing and improving this game mod, because i like it very much and think is a very enjoyable and fast pace gametype. New options will be available as along the updates.

Hello Soldiers

MOD IS RUNNING SMOOTH, NO LAG DETECTED....

UPDATE:

Due to several players have suggested that would be easier and more effective to have the RPG (rockets) along with other weapon I've changed the opening procedure...

NOW...

When u open the cabinet, door will be opened until u grab the RPG.

After u grab the RPG the door will close, and will have a delay time to open it again.

I've done this delay time, to avoid the defense team become too strong with all players getting RPG's + mg/sniper + pistol. Offense team (Escort team) wouldn't have a change with all rockets and also mg's/sniper's firing at the same time from the Defense Team.

I hope u like better this way! (I also like the way it was, but would call for some more skilled playability and also becomes harder).

So for all new and already known players to the mod, YOU now have NO excuses to jump in the server and DESTROY THAT TANK

UPDATE:

After testing with full server, 20 people playing, I've realized that spawns are too fast and becomes really hard for the escort team to advance with the tank

Therefore I've just updated an respawn delay of 5 seconds. So after u die now u need to wait 5 seconds to get into the battle again

Hope it becomes more just and easy to play...

Now, let's all jump in the server and test it

UPDATE:

--> Respawn delay has been added to the players.

3 seconds of respawn-delay to the escort-team.

5 seconds of respawn-delay to the attack team.

This way it is more fair and gives more opportunity to the escort team to advance faster.

--> Repair-Reward.

The player that repairs the tank will get 1 kill point extra

- A new map will be available soon...

UPDATE:

.You get 2 kill points reward for repairing the tank

.Tank randomly Shoot when it sees the enemy, helping the escort team to push further the tank

(tip: tank only spots enemy far away if enemy gets close to the tank or hide, tank will ignore him)

So beware campers, don't stay too long at same spot if tank sees u...you will blow away .

It's very good-maked mod!

The tank mods r best! It's entertaining mod for long playing. It's suitable for small count (2 - 10) of players and it can be

included into to almost all the maps.

I recommended u to add it into m1l3a or m1l3b.
