//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////$or's Basic Scripting Tutorial: Part 1&2///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////Hello everybody, I've made the first 2 parts of my scripting tutorial (the basics).When you did all parts of the tutorial you'll have a great start for some advanced scripting!!This tutorial is so easy and so good explained and understandable, it can teach any newbie, totallynew to mohaa!!(This tutorial is for MoHAA v1.11, I don't know how things are before the v1.11 patch,for spearhead this should apply as well, since spearhead only add features and doesn't change them(with a few exceptions))NOTE: IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH OPENING/EDITING PK3 FILES AND OPENING SCR FILES, GO AHEAD ANDSKIP THE PARTS YOU KNOW***************** Features:*****************-Tutorial Document for Word 2007 and the same document for Word 1997 to 2003 users!!!-It's EXTREMELY easy to understand; made so that any total newbie can learn this-Exists out of 2 parts: -Part 1: -Teaches the user how to open pk3 files with a program of choice (winrar/pakscape) -Every step is carefully explained with screenshots. -Teaches the system of over-riding files in MoHAA -Then it teaches the user how to use these programs -Teaches the user how to make scr files open with wordpad (carefully explained and illustrated) -At last it teaches the user a bit more about the files in the main directory -Part 2: -First takes the user to the script of Southern France and explains how the script is put together -Then teaches the user carefully with a lot of easy to understand explanation, the basics of scripting (part 1) -Teaches the user to organize his script -Gives 5 EXTREMELY useful tips -By the end of part 2, the user will have made his very first script!!!-Each lesson in the 2 parts ends with a summary of what you learned and/or did in that lesson.It makes the user aware of what he should learn and remember and gives the opportunity to test himself.-At the end of the tutorial, you've made your very first working script!!-Help Topic: there's a link to a forum topic where anyone can ask questions and post their problems (registration required)-Contact (e-mail): For urgent issues or non-script related questions-...***************** Future:*****************-The future will hold at least 2 more parts teaching you the complete basics of scripting.During these parts you will make more scripts, and so learn to make scripts yourself.Still very well explained, understandable...!!Stay Tuned for more****************Installation:****************I RECOMMEND YOU EXTRACT THE DOCUMENT AND NOT OPEN IT IN WINRAR!!!Select the .docx document if you have word 2007.Select the .doc document for Word 1997-2003.If you're not sure which Word version you have, select both.Extract the document(to your desktop or a folder.Open them there.
