AAAA

Hi all for starters this is a rant and rave on soap box

The AAAA is a community - I run it with the help of many and it is what is from the help I get, support I get and feed back...............

I have made many mistakes from its start 2 years ago but with the clans and players onboard we have shaped it together and changed many things.

One thing that winds me up is when a clan quits the League WTF - The League is built by the clans for the clans so when a clan quits it kind of winds me up............

BC clan quit http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/bc-leaving-aaaa Well no prior involvement and did not get involved

COH Quits http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/coh-regrets Well Ubersoldier has and is helping he spent time and provided the maps and help setup the match servers.

So I dont see any input from BC or COH clan other than above so why should we listen when they quit - yet active clans who asked for the run speed to be changed - yeh I am going to listen - they been on TS3 and inputted - they did not demand just asked so yeh I looked at it TBH IMO I feel it could be reduced but also dont mind as is as I like it fast but its not about me so a vote http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/content/player-run-speed-league

We run AAAA together and many spend lots of time supporting it running the servers at cost - The whole basics were to keep server costs down and have control - They are based in UK and is not ideal for all to have a UK based server but we have control and backups yet COH decided to go else where WTF is that about is that anti AAAA - If its wrong raise it support it - I see COH took out a Gameservers server yet thats been down this weekend shit happens so why not support the community yeh AAAA has had its fair share of problems yet we work together.............

So as you can see I am a bit wound up because both above clans BC and COH with the exception of UBERSOLDIER have done FA to help so why should we give a toss.......................

So yeh we got problems but we run together - if you guys ship up and shape up as they other clans have and work as a team and a community instead of this crap

If thats your attitude then why the Fxxk should I bother...................

Well I will Bother for the remaining clans / players who do put effort in and do help and support

So a big thanks to the clans and players who support the community on AAAA and that is a big thanks

For those who want to whine and moan try putting in some effort and help shape the community instead of freeloading on nothing

I will give an example's of what people do to help AAAA - Its not just a league but a community -:

Tom from LKW runs the KML site and set it all up ready for season 3

Linda from LKW checks all the AAAA hosted servers every morning to see if they are all running including TS

Shadow not from a Clan has been supporting the map database

Joto setup the SCAPP interface so we can run as we do with the hosting

UBERSOLDIER setup and picked the maps for season 3 and support the AAAA servers

Weapondrop has started to help with AAAA server setup

What are you doing to help !!!! Its a community so DONT WHINE when you done FA GET involved !!!

Well BC clan have confirmed they are not in the League - well look Its hard in words I am not wanting to fall out or argu with COH or BC clan but for the love off GOD I feel very frustrated by it

The other clans have worked together I have had WOV, ANGO, LKW working together helping each other RA clan just signed up and said we are in sorted running MOHAAC so what the hell are the problems............

I know Canvey from WOV has a major issue with .net on a windows 7 build - but it relates to xfire and ts3 which is a known issue on google but its not a direct cause of MOHAAC - .net is used by many things such as MSN and a likes but Windows 7 is not as plug n play as XP - I am starting a thread on MOHAAC to raise some issues but if any of your members dont put the effort in to report these issues in detail and help we got no chance of resolving - Has WOV quit because the main admin cant get on NO!! we are working to find out what the problem is !!!!

If you guys just want to quit then fine but I guess if you had approached the situation in a positive manner unstead of just quiting we may have read your post more positive - Imagine if you had just spent 3 mnths setting all this up instead of playing MOHAA for someone to turn up and say we dont like it we quit that SUCKS!!!

Hi Guys our clan is having problems using MOHAAC and as it stands we dont think we can start yet can you help ??

but If you just want to quit hey ho but you got to understand it takes effort

Hi Jon and all

This is a community at the end of the day and everyone here should help and be involved. I've had big problems with MOHAAC as you know.....and also problems with getting on the forum.....dunno why this happens to me maybe shite pc or just me....lol. I hate that i havent' been involved as much as i would have wanted to lately, but hopefully i can make up for that. If my MOHAAC problem doesn't get sorted then it just means i can't play league wars but....WoV will still be very much involved with the AAAA....we are going no where !!!
I think it sucks that Clans have pulled out of this league just as the new season is about to start.....shame on you
As for the rest of us here.......it's onwards and upwards !!! and let the wars begin !!! (with or without me)

Hey Jayne...yea i've seen your topic on the MOHAAC forum...it's surprising me that he isn't looking into it TBH...

But you can ask him to help you through teamviewer (if you agree with that). We also had one player who wasn't able to run it...I tried it, than Vitor (MEGA member) tried to help, but none of us could get it to work...I sent Steve a mail and he offered to install it from zero with .Net Framework and all, but that player got a slow pc and it took us hours so i just asked Steve to sent me a list with options what to do...Did it all...Didn't work...But than God came in to help us and he (as far as i know) got it working...Thanks for that Jon btw

So yeh a whole story but basically what i mean is: All players in LKW could get it to work (with a little bit of help) or they asked me/Vitor to install it...didn't took long...Only a few don't want to run it which is not a problem at all, they only know they are not allowed to play the league and accept that...Only problem was that one player and that wasn't even a problem on MOHAAC's side...

Everything is possible...Sometimes it just needs some more effort

Well......i have MOHHAC !! Thanks to Xenax Admin....just some small issues with my xfire and teamspeak ! they say i sound like a robot....lol but they hear me so thats ok Having said that....i've incurred a 'serious infraction' against me.....for moving numerous files from my main :/ i think that has been due to the amount of times i've tried to install it on my pc and the system restores i've performed after to get my pc 'back to normal' after mohaac messed it up !! I don't cheat guys...lol...i'm too bad a player ))

I do believe the COH clan's decision to withdraw from the league being over emphasised on the forums. It is a choice we made for the reasons stated along with one or two in-house developments. It seems we are being hounded by our decision and being seen to be the bad guys. If we had left the league with no mention of reason it would of stifled all argument, unfortunately the reasons mentioned as caused excessive debate. The COH clan is run on a Democratic basis with no dominant factors, each member expresses his own will.

The AAAA forums maintains a most appropriate format for the continuation of Mohaa Gaming, and has brought together many hyper active Modders and I.T personnel into one domain, but there are many ordinary clan members "depending on age groups and experience" that are not familiar with the subjects arising, therefore cannot become actively involved within the forum because of lack of knowledge and general computer Know how.

I cannot really understand, why season three could not of continued using the previous anti-cheat until the Mohaacc project had been completed within the league closed season. It comes within the same scenario, going for a car ride and having to continuously do roadside repairs until one reaches their destination.

I dont think you should take this to personal, as we have not disgraced the league, we have not pulled out on bad terms. COH/BC are still playing Mohaa, we are still promoting Allied assault,
the doors are still open to all. You state, COH have not participated regarding input, Ubersoldier is a COH member who is not only a tremendous asset to our gaming but has also done much work within the AAAA projects, it is credit to him the COH clan has survived.

I hope these matters can soon be closed and we can all get on playing the game we all enjoy setting aside all political arguments and ambitions.

Hi Nobby - the point being EVERY one had the chance to vote for Season 3 on if were to go with MOHAAC, in the early stages there were many problems and things we needed - We fed back to Steve regarding these and he gave all the requests we asked for on a plate so we spent 3 months testing it and asking for more and more things until well I can only speak for my self but it was perfect for our League in the fact we had full control can run custom maps and enforce its use - Season 2 ended up with a lot of players not running UAC3 so was far from ideal.

So all the clans had the chance to decide on MOHAAC so I think when you pulled out for "RUN SPEED" and "MOHAAC" it was some what of a shock A) because the run speed is still on "300" as you can see the vote is still running but a large percentage over 50% want to keep it that way........

MOHAAC was stuck with as all that got involved in its testing were happy with the level of support and fast progress it was developed to meet our needs............

We gave weeks of notice to check, test and ask if every one was ready to start the league we could have delayed and would have if the feed back had been that it was not ready.

Their are a few players with some issues which have required a lot of time and technical support from all sorts of problems not just bacause of MOHAAC but because of .net issues and Xfire / TS3 issues which are ongoing with or without MOHAAC but the clans wanted to crack on with MOHAAC.

As for the car well people buy Alfa's because they are an amazing car when they work but often break down and need some TLC but people still buy them and love them )))

Our first League match was a good start and onething for sure no Lag which was an issue in the early stages.

The Fact it was highlighted so much in the for forum should be taken as compliment that we gave a toss when you left LOL The bottom line is if you still had all these issues you should have done what your doing now when we tested it all and asked sooooo many times if every one was happy

So yes feel free to the close the subject BUT perhaps next time you may want to get involved more in the early stages of a debate so you can get your valid and very respected points across looking forward to shooting you very soon I will be running MOHAAC mind due to declare myself clean
